Rafting in Racha region (from Kutaisi)

Description

Our rafting tour is an ideal active outdoor adventure on the whole day in the Racha region of Georgia. It is the most popular and exciting route for a one-day White Water rafting on the Rioni river.  We will start the trip from the city of Kutaisi each day during the summer season.   

The descent takes place in the mountain region Racha located in a two-hour drive from the city of Kutaisi. The powerful and dynamic rafting route is available here. You will raft of the 23 km stretch through the Alpana and Tvishi canyons of the Rioni river. Besides, during our ride to the rafting start point, we’ll stop in several exciting places in the region like the Nakerala pass, Shaori Lake, and Ambrolauri city.

The trip approach both participants with experience and beginners with an average fitness level. In the middle and the end of the summer season, the descent also approaches for any people, including children above nine years old.

Tour details

Departure time from Kutaisi is 10 am, 3-5 times every week. 

We provide you a neoprene suit and shoes. You can wear a thermal or swimsuit under the neoprene wetsuit. Tell us the size of your clothes and shoes during booking request  like Length and  Weight (178cm, 67kg) for clothes and Euro size for shoes ( 36,39,43, etc.) 

The trip duration is 12 hours

Price of the rafting tour :

180 GEL per adult person

160 GEL per child under 12 years old

The trip is not available for children under ten years old.

For groups over six guests, as well as travel agencies working on an ongoing basis, provide discounts.
