Makhunceti waterfall

Makhuntseti waterfall is a famous waterfall in Western Georgia.  Adjarian people, usually, calls this waterfall one of the most impressive. It consists of pure mountain water and falls from a height of over 50 meters. The beautiful view of the waterfall, fantastic nature and a short distance from the resort town of Batumi, attracts a vast number of tourists here. 

The one particular point is that just 300 meters away the waterfall locates the arched bridge across the mountain river Adjaristskali. The bridge built in the times of the famous Queen Tamar.

To reach this place, you can take a taxi, the average price is only 50-70 GEL for the trip to the waterfall and back. Either you can go by local bus going to Keda or Khulo, the bus starts the way from the bus station.

If you have time, the best choice will be a car to visit the waterfall, because there are many picturable places on the way to the waterfall.
