Tour to Georgian Sweden (Racha region)

Description

Racha is low renowned mountain region locates nearby of Kutaisi. It is an ideal place for the outdoor in Georgia. Here you find gorgeous nature, horse riding, hiking, and one of the best rivers for rafting descents. Also, wine lovers can discover the famous semi-sweet and dry wines like Hvanchkara, Tvishi, and Usahelauri in the region.

The first day.

The variant of the tour depends of the start city

Start from Batumi:

The travel starts at 9 am, we will visit the Gelati temple and the first science academy of Georgia, founded in the 12 century. Climb on the Nakerala pass and TskraDjvari viewpoint, if you will have a wish we can climb up to the top of the Tskradjvari mount (a hike of 3 km), will stop on the shore of the Shaori lake and stop at night in a hotel.

Start from Kutaisi:

The second day

Today we can do an active program, you can choose one or two variants from the list below:

Rafting on the Rioni river. 7 or 25 km descent
Horse riding of 3-5 hours
Hike to Saint Georgi temple about 7 km
Hike to the up viewpoint on the Sairme pillars
Auto trip to the Mravaldzali viewpoint, Shovi and Utsera springs.

In the evening we will visit one of the wine cellars of the region.

The third day

Go back:

to Batumi:

We will drive by the nice road from Alpana village through Lanjanura canyon and climb up to the Orbeliani pass. We will visit the Rokhi waterfalls and the Khvamli top where we can walk and visit several beautiful viewpoints.

to Kutaisi:

We will visit the Sairme Pillars park and after drive by the nice road from Alpana village through Lanjanura canyon and climb up to the Orbeliani pass. We will visit the Rokhi waterfalls and the Khvamli top where we can walk and visit several beautiful viewpoints.
