Description

1. Mtskheta, Djvari and cave city Uplitsikhe

The travel to sights located around Tbilisi. On the tour will be visiting the Djvari monastery, was built in VII century, from that place also available a nice view of the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. We will see the ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta, on the streets of the city you can find many shops with local souvenirs and the famous Tsvtistskhoveli temple. Also on the tour, we will visit the ancient cave city Uplistsikhe which was founded about 3000 years ago.

2. Georgian military road

The travel of the Georgian military way. On the tour, we will climb up to the Mtianeti mountain region.

On the trip will visit the Ananuri castle of the 17 century, the viewpoint of the Jinvaly lake. Will be stopping on the viewpoint of the confluence of Black and White Aragvi rivers. We will drive through Gudauri ski resort on the Cross-pass. We do a stop on the Friendship arch and a mineral water spring. Also, you will have the opportunity to climb to Gergeti Church viewpoint by the OFF-ROAD cars or stop in the restaurant Intourist to have a coffee or lunch with a view of the Kazbek mountain.

On the way back to Tbilisi we can stop in the local restaurant to test the Khinkalli one of the best of the local meals.

3. Kakheti (Signakhi and Kvareli)

Excursion to Kakheti the east region of Georgia famous for the best wines in the country.

We start the travel from Tbilisi and drive to Signakhi city. The first stop will be after 1 hour in a nice local garden with a shop where you can find a vast wine collection and will have the opportunity to degust and buy if you like anything. The next stop will be in Signakhi - the city of love. It is an authentic city with old streets, souvenirs shops, and beautiful views of surrounding valleys. Also, the city saved the long fortress wall of 17 centuries in a good condition. We can also have lunch here. The last point of the trip will be the Kindzmarauli wine factory, we can see here how to do wines by European and traditional Georgian technology, and have a degustation of 4 types of the wine. Also on the territory of the factory located a nice restaurant with traditional kitchen and we can have dinner here.

4. Kakheti (Telavi and Kvareli)

Excursion to Kakheti the east region of Georgia famous for the best wines in the country through the Gombori pass.

We will drive to Kakheti through the Gombori pass, on the way we will stop at the viewpoint at the pass top, drive a beautiful road through the forest on the pass descent. The first point of the trip will be the Chavchavadzis family museum "Tsinandali", the second one the "Shumi", a small wine factory with a beautiful grape garden and wine history museum. After we will go to the Numisi family museum where we can find the old Kakhetian traditional cellar "Marani" with a vast collection of ancient instruments devices, dishes, and tools. The last point of the trip will be the Kindzmarauli wine factory, we can see here how to do wines by European and traditional Georgian technology, and have a degustation of 4 types of the wine. Also on the territory of the factory located a nice restaurant with traditional kitchen and we can have dinner here.

The price pays the group. If you want less the price and add additional participants in your tour, tell us during the booking and we try to find them.

For groups, less than 7 participants tour provide the guide-driver, who drive a car and give information about places and country to you in English. We can invite a professional guide from the guide association if you would like (the additional fee will be 70 USD)

For a group of 9 participants and more, we do a tour with a bus driver and English-speaking guide.
