About the Rafting:

• Difficulty level: Class II–III

• Duration: About 2 hours on the water

• Starting point: Racha, mouth of the Shareula River

• Finishing point: Lechkhumi, mouth of the Gvirishi-Nikordziri River

• Age restriction: Children from 10 years old accompanied by adults

• Guides: Certified by both the International and Georgian Rafting Federations

• Safety: A thorough safety briefing and rafting instruction are provided before the trip

• Equipment: Neoprene wetsuits and river shoes are available for all participants in cool weather

Tour details

• 07:00–07:20 – Departure from Batumi to Racha

• Coffee break on the way

• Scenic stop at the Bagrati Cathedral with a panoramic view over the Imereti Valley

• 10:30–11:00 – Arrival at the rafting starting point

• 13:00–13:30 – Arrival at the riverside picnic location

Picnic menu: fresh vegetables, cheese, lavash (Georgian flatbread), seasonal fruits, tea
A full traditional lunch can also be arranged upon request (from 30 GEL per person)

• Visit to the Sairme Pillars Park

• Visit to the Gvirishi Waterfall

• Optional visit to a small mountain wine cellar with local wine tasting

• Return to Batumi

• 20:00–21:00 – Arrival in Batumi

Rafting Equipment:

We provide all necessary gear for rafting, including neoprene wetsuits and special water shoes.
The wetsuit is comfortable to wear over a swimsuit.
When booking, please let us know your clothing size (e.g., US M, L, XL) and shoe size (EU 36, 39, 43, etc.).

Tour Duration:

13–14 hours total

Price:

• 270 GEL per participant

• Children under 10 are not permitted to participate in rafting

• Minimum total price for a group of 1–3 people: 900 GEL

• Discounts available for organized groups of 12+ participants and for travel agencies with ongoing cooperation
