Rafting in the hightland region Racha-Lechkhumi:

The descent stretсh is 23 km

The rafting takes from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the season. 

The total trip time is 9-10 hours from Kutaisi

The total trip time is 14-15 hours from Batumi

The highland area Racha locate in 80 kilometers north of Kutaisi. That area is famous not only for the local goods like the Khvanchkara wine and Lobiani pie (the Georgian bread stuffed with beans), and incredible landscapes but also for the best whitewater rafting in Georgia carry on the River Rioni.

For those who seek a dynamic, moderately extreme, but at the same time safe rafting descent, where you can get some trial to you, we would like to offer the "Rafting in Racha” route. It is precisely the option that includes all off this:

The descent will start with straightforward rapids, and you will have the opportunity to practice your paddling skills to get experience if you haven't. The river flows across the most beautiful canyon Alpana where we meet the high cliffs and several exciting rapids.

Tour details

The best time to start the journey from Kutaisi is 10 a.m.

We will have a small picnic at the finish point, and those who will have the desire can swim in a small mountain lake.

We provide the fullest safety equipment for rafting include a neoprene suit, life jacket, helmet, and shoes. You can wear a thermal or swimsuit under the neoprene wetsuit. Tell us the clothes and shoe sizes during a booking request  like Length and  Weight (178cm, 67kg) for clothes and Euro size for shoes ( 36,39,43, etc.) 

Duration of the route is10 hours

Route Price (including transfer from and to Kutaisi):

600 GEL per group up to 2 persons

180 GEL for each guest in a group of 3 persons

For groups from Batumi, the price is:

800 GEL per group up to 3 persons

230 GEL for each guest in a group of 3 persons

For groups of over six participants as well as tourist agencies, we provide a discount.
