Summer in the Georgia, nature & historical tour

Description

If you prefer to rest in nature, have the interest to explore the culture of the country of visiting, and don't like big and nosily towns, that means that our tour can be interesting for you.
In the summer months Jule and August there is a peak of the tourist season in Georgia. In popular places, you can catch a sense that you locate at the metro station of the capital in a rush hour. And we tried to create an interesting journey where you will have an opportunity to explore the country, meet the real beauty of the local nature, but be far from the noise.

DAY 1. The Meeting and transfer to the Racha-Lechkhumi region

Meeting in Tbilisi.  Transfer to the Racha-Lechkhumi region.

If the group comes before 2 pm we will have also the opportunity to visit an interesting viewpoint locates close to Tbilisi (Djvari temple with a view on the fluent of Kura and Aragvi rivers). The road to Racha will takes about 5 hours.

Accommodation in the hotel close to Ambrolauri city.

DAY 2. Acquaintance with the upper Racha.

9:00  Breakfast

Today we will have the trip to the upper Rache: Resorts Shovi and Utsera, Glola, mineral waters, Barakoni temple

In the evening we will visit the wine cellar, where product local wine Khvanchkara.

DAY 3. Lakes, temples, and wine

9 : 00  Breakfast

Today we explore the middle Racha. We will visit the Nakerala pass, hike to Tskxradjvari peak (hiking about 3 km), visit the Shaori lake and Nikorcminda temple. In the evening we will visit the wine cellar where cook local wine Khvanchkara.

DAY 4. Lower Svaneti.

9 : 00  Breakfast

Today we will visit not famous, but well interesting region the Lower Svaneti. We drive through Langanuri river valley and climb up to Tsageri pass with a nice view of the Tskheniskali river. Also, we will visit the museum in the capital of region Lentekhi, viewpoints, and waterfalls.

We stop at the night in Kutaisi. 

DAY 5. Imeretian valley.

9 : 00  Breakfast

We will provide the day in the Imereti region, the middle part of Georgia. The last 14 centuries many crowds of invaders came here, but no one can't ocupated the region. From that region took the begin the gold Georgian centurie too.

The protected area Sataplia wii be the first place that we will visit.  Первым местом которое мы  посетим будет заповедник Сатаплиа, что в переводе на русский значит “Медовое место”. Когда-то в этих краях жили дикие пчелы, и много веков назад тут собирался дикий мед. Меда сейчас нет, но осталось много всего интересного, окаменелые следы динозавров (возраст более 65 млн. лет), удивительный Колхидский лес, Карстовая пещера, по красоте сравнимая с пещерой Прометея и Новом Афоне, необычная смотровая площадка с которой открывается вид на Кутаиси и долину Имерети.

После обеда мы отправимся в комплекс Гелати, любимое место знаменитого грузинского царя Давида Агмашенебели, ныне действующий монастырь, а в прошлом первая научная Академи Грузинского царства. Посетим красивый уголок над каньоном Красной реки, монастырь Моцамета, а также исторический центр города Кутаиси Колхидский фонтан и храм имени Баграта 3.

• В рамках тура размещение участников происходит в гостевых домах, один день в палатках на берегу реки Риони ( спальники, палатки, коврики - предоставляются)
• Для групп до 4 участников переезды делаем на кроссовере или джипе.
• Для групп до 6 участников используется минивен повышенной проходимости.
