Route "Rafting in Kutaisi"

Description

We invite you to join on the descent by a raft or an inflatable kayak boat through the ancient center of Kutaisi city. The rafting trip starts nearby of Gumbati dam and follows along the river Rioni through the historical center of the town.  

It is a short but unique route. During we raft of a rapid river, we can observe surround ancient buildings, temples, and bridges. Here you can get a unique experience that can not found in other places.

Safety on the rafting

On a raft boat with the group will be professional raft guide, had been specially trained, which include: methodologies of a rafting technic by International Rafting Federation (IRF) and rescue technic in an extreme situation.

Each person is issued all personal safety equipment for rafting: helmet, paddle, safe jacket, and neoprene suit.

There is particular safety briefed before rafting trips, which gives information about the journey, commands on a boat, and safety rules.

Tour details

It is the rafting on the Rioni river. We provide you the raft or inflatable kayak boats, that will depend on the number of participants and actual water level. Our instructor will with the group on the water. The price depends on the number of participants in the group.

Total time of the trip is around 1,5 hours

250 GEL per group up to 3 guests

50 GEL for each subsequent guest

For groups over 12 guests, as well as travel agencies working on an ongoing basis - good discounts are provided.
