Description

This tour is designed especially for those coming to Georgia for the very first time.
Over 10 days we’ll travel across the whole country — from East to West — visiting Tbilisi, Batumi, Borjomi, Kutaisi, as well as many small towns and villages. We’ll explore the most famous and beautiful landmarks, along with unique hidden places rarely seen by tourists. You’ll get to know the everyday life and traditions of different regions, taste authentic Georgian cuisine, and experience true Georgian hospitality.

• Walking tour of Old Tbilisi with a guide (4–5 hours)

• Breakfast at the hotel

• 9:00 am departure to Kakheti, the ancient region famous for agriculture and winemaking

• Dinner at a family winery

Day 4

• Breakfast at the hotel

• 9:30 am departure for a tour along the Georgian Military Highway

• Visit Ananuri, Gergeti Trinity Church, mineral springs, and the Friendship Arch

• Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 5

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Departure to Samtskhe-Javakheti region

• Visit Mtskheta, Javri, and take part in a Meskhetian cuisine cooking class

• Overnight near the cave city of Vardzia

Day 6

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Visit Vardzia, Rabati Fortress, and Borjomi

• Optional stop for rafting or horseback riding (about 1 hour)

• Overnight in Kutaisi

Day 7

• Breakfast at the hotel

• 9:00 am departure to Upper Svaneti (Zemo Samegrelo), reaching Mestia — the capital of the region

• Stops at Nokalakevi hot springs, Enguri Dam, Svan House Museum with tower, and scenic viewpoints

• Overnight in Mestia

Day 8

• Trip to Ushguli and Mount Tetnuldi

• Cross the Zagari Pass into Lower Svaneti, visit Racha waterfall

• Overnight in Kutaisi

Day 9

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Transfer to Batumi with stops at Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon

• Hotel check-in in Batumi

Day 10

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Free time or optional city tour of Old Batumi

• Transfer to Batumi airport, train station, or bus station

The tour starts in Tbilisi and ends in Batumi.
Entrance tickets to sightseeing sites are not included and require an additional cost of about 200 GEL per person.

Accommodation is provided in 2-star level hotels with breakfast – clean rooms, convenient location, private bathroom.

The tour is organized for small groups with local driver-guides:

• 1–3 participants – by car or crossover with A/C, led by a driver-guide (a local who knows the route, places, culture, traditions, basics of history, and can answer your questions, but without going deep into dates).

• 4–7 participants – by minivan with a driver-guide.

• 8–17 participants – by minibus with driver and separate guide.

Tour Cost:

For a group of 1-3 participants:

• $2,500 USD for a group of 2 participants

• $2,900 USD for a group of 3 participants

For a group of 4-5 participants:

• $900 USD per participant

For a group of 6-10 participants:

• $850 USD per participant

For a group of 11-15 participants:

• $800 USD per participant

Price includes

Price not includes

• Lunches and dinners, except those mentioned above (from 30 GEL per person for a meal)

• City tour of Old Batumi (250 GEL per group up to 10 participants)

• Transfer back to Tbilisi on Day 10 (from 50 GEL per person)
