Rafting on the Rioni river (Family tour)

Description

The whitewater rafting in the Lechkhumi across the Rioni river is a great way to get an experience of the real rafting! Two-hour rafting descent on a fast river with exciting but straightforward and safe rapids in the surrounded spectacular views. It is all that you need for a good vacation and gets the cheerfulness for a long time.

Our rafting tour begins from the city of Kutaisi. We start from your hotel or the meeting point and drive to the river Rioni. We will visit the Namokhvani waterfall during the road. The descent begins from a meadow near the village Derchi; from this place, you can see the famous Khvamli Plateau.

The rafting duration is up to 14 kilometers; In the middle of the trip, we will stop at the confluence with the River Lekhidari, where you can swim in a crystal clear water, jumping from cliffs, and also enjoy the fantastic nature views.

We finish the route close to the Zhoneshi village, where we will have a small picnic (cheese, vegetables, herbs, Georgian bread, and Lobiani), and after we go back to the city of Kutaisi.

Tour details

The best time to start the journey from Kutaisi is 10-11 a.m.

On the way to the starting point, we visit the Namokhvani waterfall. At the starting point, we receive briefing and training of the main commands and actions on the raft, put on the equipment; after those, we will have rafting of approximately two hours. We will have the swimming and cliff jumping stop at the confluence with the Lekhidari river.

We will have a small picnic at the finish point.

We provide the fullest safety equipment for rafting include a neoprene suit, life jacket, helmet, and shoes. You can wear a thermal or swimsuit under the neoprene wetsuit. Tell us the clothes and shoe sizes during a booking request  like Length and  Weight (178cm, 67kg) for clothes and Euro size for shoes ( 36,39,43, etc.) 

Duration of the route is six hours

400 GEL per group up to 3 guests

100 GEL for each subsequent guest
